Comet (12) and Shiloh (16)
by Debbie Kelly

Shilh came to us as a weanling. He was adopted from a center in Virginia Beach. He's my husband's horse and they are great friends. Comet was adopted from a adoption in Lexington VA. She is my trail horse. She's one of the smartest horses I've ever trained. Both horses were born wild and they look so different. Shiloh is a chunk at 1000 lbs and 15.1hh whereas Comet is lucky if she pushes 850 lbs and she's 14.3 if she stands up really tall.

I've cared for and trained many different breeds and types of horses and I tell you the truth when I say these two are two of the best horses I've ever trained. They are sure footed, trail-wise, and generally give their all at anything I point them at. Mustang is definitely my breed of choice from now on. Watch for comet on the distance circuit --- she'll be the one passing the Arabs.
