Hope
by Audra Bailey

Here is a story about a young girl and the horse of her dreams. Hope is a Mustang from Nevada who was caught in 1992 and later sold to a horse camp in Georgia. The girl's name is Audra and she went to the horse camp that Hope was sold to.

The first year Audra went to the horse camp, she was told that she was going to ride Hope that week. Audra was both excited and nervous about riding Hope. She had always dreamed of riding a Mustang, but she was afraid that Hope might buck her off.

The time had come to get ready to ride in their morning lesson and Audra was excited to see what Hope looked like. She walked into the pasture and there stood a beautiful bay mare. Right then and there Audra decided that she would love Hope forever. When it was time for her lesson, she climbed onto her back and instantly felt at home. While Audra was at camp she and Hope grew a special bond that would bind these two for many years.

After summer of 2007, Audra got the devastating news that Zion Farms was no longer having camps and that they would have to sell all of their horses including her favorite horse, Hope. Audra's parents saw how upset she was and they decided they would do everything they could to get Hope. They told Audra that they bought Hope and since then she's been spending every second she can with Hope.
